Background

The pandemic-induced shift to distance learning caught schools off guard, leading to numerous challenges in synchronizing disparate tools and interfaces and managing a "virtual school" environment. The lack of routine disrupted students emotionally, socially, and academically, while teachers struggled to provide personalized attention and track student progress effectively.

Goals

1

Strengthening Student-Teacher-Classmate Bonds:

Enhancing communication and collaboration among students, their peers, and teachers to cultivate a supportive and engaging learning environment.

2

Boosting Academic Performance and Test Scores:

Elevating educational outcomes by implementing strategies to boost test scores and overall achievements through effective teaching methodologies and personalized learning approaches

3

Improved Parent and Teacher Tracking of Student Progress:

Facilitating comprehensive monitoring of students' academic progress and development by providing parents and teachers with accessible tools and insights to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and offer targeted support.

Market Research

Competitors in the market include popular video conferencing and remote meeting platforms such as Zoom, Teams, and Skype. While these platforms offer multi-participant capabilities and shared chat features, they are not specifically tailored for the education sector.

Lesson Replay Accessibility:
The product should automatically save lessons and make them accessible for students to watch again as needed.

Highlighting Key Points:
Students should be able to mark specific segments of recorded lessons, making it easy to review important information.

Sharing Learning Resources:
Teachers should have the capability to share supplementary materials like documents, photos, and presentations to enhance the learning experience.

User Research

Study-Group caters to three distinct user groups: students, teachers, and parents, each with unique interface needs:

Students

Goal: Personalized learning and support

Needs: Tools for teachers to track progress, assess comprehension, and tailor instruction

Teachers

Needs: Streamlined booking, itinerary management, timely updates, and access to amenities

Interface Response: Quick booking, calendar integration, priority boarding, lounge access

Parents

Goal: Stay informed and support their child’s learning
