Role

Background

Currently, customers face the tedious task of comparing various cinema chains to find suitable movies, showtimes, and ticket prices. This process often deters people from going to the cinema, leading them to opt for home entertainment instead. Our main challenge lies in securing cooperation with cinema chains and accessing their screening schedules and systems.

Goals

1

Application Adoption:

Attain a 70% adoption rate among online ticket buyers for the application.

2

Revenue Generation:

Boost ticket sales and enhance collection of purchase fees from cinemas.

3

Personalized Experience:

Tailor movie recommendations to users' preferences, introducing them to new films in genres they enjoy while promoting smaller theaters.

Market Research

Competitors include other cinema apps and websites offering online ticket purchases. However, their selection processes can be cumbersome, with screening times sometimes not aligning with customer preferences. Additionally, ticket pickup or purchase at the cinema often leads to long waiting times and congestion.

Streamlined Booking Process:

Our product must simplify ticket booking, offering a more precise and user-friendly experience.

Reduced Waiting Times:

Efforts should be made to minimize waiting times and streamline entry into the cinema.

Comprehensive Movie Listings:

Customers desire access to all movies in Israeli theaters, enabling them to choose based on proximity and preferred screening times.

User Research

After conducting user research, we discovered that a significant number of individuals purchasing tickets online visit cinemas daily, representing diverse target audiences. Our findings highlight the specific needs of these online ticket buyers.

Movie Discovery:

Customers prioritize easy access to movie. Our product should employ user learning algorithms to match individuals with movies tailored to their preferences.

Convenient Screening Time Selection:

Customers desire a hassle-free process for choosing movie screening times. Our product should feature filters allowing users to sort movies by type and screening time for efficient selection.

Stay Updated on New movies:

Customers are interested in being informed about upcoming movies. Our product should include a "coming soon" category with trailers, enabling users to save films for future viewing. Additionally, it should provide updates when movies become available in theaters.
